Eco-Friendly Hotel Key Cards
Sustainability commitments are measured in what a guest actually holds. Replacing virgin plastic key cards is one of the few changes that is visible at check-in and quantifiable in a report.
- Wood
- FSC-certified veneer
- Paper
- Recycled paperboard bodies
- Plastic
- Recycled PVC and PLA options
- Operations
- No lock or encoder change
Four lower-impact card bodies
FSC-certified wood veneer: premium feel, waterproof finish, laser engraved. Recycled paperboard: ideal for events, conferences and short stays. Recycled PVC: the familiar card feel with post-consumer content. PLA bioplastic: plant-derived, for properties with formal sustainability reporting.
Nothing changes on the operations side
Chip selection is independent of the card body, so you keep your locks, encoders and front-office workflow. The only thing that changes is what the guest touches — and what appears in your material footprint.
