Wooden RFID Cards

A wooden RFID card keeps the function of plastic and changes everything a guest feels. Every card carries its own grain — no two are identical.

Which wood for which brand?

Walnut: dark, deeply grained, classic luxury. Oak: light and warm, Scandinavian restraint. Bamboo: fast-renewing, pale and light in the hand. Olive: Mediterranean character with dense figuring.

All veneers come from FSC-certified sources and offcuts are recovered in production.

Durability in real conditions

Cards receive a waterproof finish. Poolside humidity, spa steam, rain and snow do not warp them. Laser engraving is cut into the surface, so it does not rub away the way print does.

Chips and read performance

Wood does not block radio waves. The antenna is embedded inside the card body and read range matches a standard plastic card. MIFARE Classic, Plus, DESFire EV3, NTAG and LEGIC are all available.

+Do wooden cards read as well as plastic ones?

Yes. Wood is radio-transparent; the embedded antenna delivers the same read range as a plastic card.

+Does every wooden card look different?

Yes, natural grain makes each card unique. We agree the acceptable tone range on the pre-production sample.
