Hotel Key Card With Chain
Lost cards and cards that will not fit in a swim short pocket are everyday problems in resorts. A key card on a chain turns the card into an object guests keep on them, and gives the front desk a visible way to track returns.

Body and chain combinations
Bodies can be wood, leather, recycled PVC or bamboo. Wood and leather suit boutique hotels and villas; recycled PVC stays more economical for high-turnover city hotels.
Chains come in brass, satin nickel or matt black, with leather straps, cotton cords and woven loops as alternatives. The fixing point is reinforced with a metal eyelet.
Lock compatibility and read range
Cards are produced with the chip your lock system uses — MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire, NTAG and LEGIC families are supported. The eyelet sits outside the antenna area so read performance is unaffected.
Because metal touching the antenna can reduce read range, the hole position is planned around the antenna on every project and verified on a sample against your own reader.
Personalisation
Laser engraving on wood and leather, UV print on recycled PVC. Room numbers, logo, QR codes and serial numbers can be added, and the leather tab can be colour-coded per floor or block.

+Does the chain affect reading?
When the eyelet sits outside the antenna area, read performance is unchanged. We verify it on a sample with your own reader.
+What happens if a card is lost?
The card is cancelled and a new one encoded. Because guests treat a chained card as an accessory, loss rates are usually lower than with plain cards.
+Will the chain corrode?
For pool and seaside properties we recommend stainless steel or coated brass; plain nickel chain suits indoor use.
+Can I get a sample?
Yes. We send an engraved sample with your logo so you can test it on your locks before production.
