Shape and thickness
Classic rectangles, fretwork patterns and page-clip shapes are all possible. Thicker stock is stronger but bulkier between pages; around 1 mm is the usual balance for gifting.

Cotton or silk tassels, burnished edges, two-tone wood combinations and QR codes can be added. Engraving can carry a short quote or location name alongside the logo.
