Step one: identify the frequency

Most installed hotel locks read 13.56 MHz credentials. Older installations may still use 125 kHz proximity cards. If you do not know which you have, send us a sample card — we identify frequency and chip family from it.

Step two: match the chip family

Within 13.56 MHz there are several families with different memory and security models. Encrypted families are used where the lock writes stay data to the card; simpler families suit systems that only read a serial number.

Your lock supplier's specification is the authority here. We produce to that specification rather than guessing from the lock brand alone.

Step three: encoding and validation

We encode cards to your specification, sequence them, and send a validation batch to test on your own doors before the full run ships.

Frequently asked questions

+Can you replace our current key cards without changing locks?

Yes. We match the chip and encoding of your existing card so the new cards work on the installed locks.

+What do you need from us to confirm compatibility?

One sample card, and ideally the lock system specification from your supplier.
