When UHF is the right choice
Use UHF when the credential should be recognised while someone is moving — a car approaching a barrier, a trolley passing a dock door. Use 13.56 MHz when the guest deliberately presents the card to a door.
In hotels, UHF usually covers parking and service entrances while the room lock stays on 13.56 MHz.
Hybrid construction
We combine UHF and MIFARE antennas in one card body, so a single credential opens the barrier and the guest room.

No. Phones read NFC at 13.56 MHz; UHF requires a dedicated reader.
+Will a UHF card open a hotel room lock?
