Magnetic Stripe Hotel Key Cards
Plenty of properties still run slot-reader locks. We manufacture magnetic stripe key cards in HiCo and LoCo, printed, numbered and — when required — pre-encoded.

- Stripe
- HiCo 2750 Oe / LoCo 300 Oe
- Hybrid
- Magstripe + RFID in one card
- Extras
- Signature panel, barcode, QR
- Bodies
- rPVC, PVC, paper-based
HiCo vs LoCo
HiCo stripes (usually black) resist accidental erasure from magnets and phones, which suits cards that stay in circulation. LoCo stripes (brown) re-encode more easily and suit short-lived, frequently rewritten cards.
Follow whichever type your lock supplier specifies — the encoder in your front office is built for one of them.
Hybrid cards
We can combine a magnetic stripe with an RFID chip in one body, so the same card opens a slot-reader room door and a contactless parking barrier.
Frequently asked questions
+Are magnetic stripe key cards obsolete?
No. Many installed slot-reader locks, parking systems and membership programmes still rely on them.
+Can you pre-encode magnetic stripe cards?
Yes, when your system provider shares the encoding specification.
