Paper RFID Cards

A paper-based body is the most direct way to cut plastic out of a key card. Pressed with wood fibre, it keeps the rigidity guests expect from a normal card.

How the body is made

Cellulose and wood fibre are pressed under high pressure around an RFID inlay. The result matches a plastic card in size while carrying a far lower plastic content.

The surface is matte and naturally textured; offset and UV print apply directly and laser engraving leaves a dark, high-contrast mark.

Where it fits

Congress and trade-fair badges, festival tickets, short-stay city hotels and chains publishing sustainability reports. In single-use scenarios the body follows the paper recycling stream.

Frequently asked questions

+How long does a paper card last?

With a water-repellent coating it handles weeks to months of intensive use; for permanent cards we recommend wood or rPVC.

+Is the paper card recyclable?

The body suits the paper stream, and we can set up a collection flow to separate the inlay.
